Funding opportunities

There are various funding opportunities available:

• The BRIDGE Seed Fund
  A joint research fund has been established to which faculty members at each institution are encouraged to apply.
• Birmingham International Engagement Fund
  A Travel Fund has been established to allow academics to seek funding for international travel to establish and develop research collaborations.
• Fulbright Distinguished Chair Award
  A generous six-month secondment enables a prominent US professor to be based at the University of Birmingham.
• Fulbright Researcher opportunities
  A researcher based at a US institution may visit the University of Birmingham for a period of 3–9 months to conduct research in any subject.
• Postgraduate Scholarship Opportunities for US Students
  A range of fellowship opportunities for US students and faculty to come to the University of Birmingham and gain valuable transatlantic experience
